Grade 8: Immediate Preparation for Confirmation

Students who successfully complete through grade 7 become eligible for the Sacrament of Confirmation which takes place in the spring of the 8th grade school year. Unlike a regular classroom setting, the 8th grade program concentrates on the student’s future as a disciple of Christ. The program we use for the immediate preparation of the final Sacrament of Initiation is published by Ascension Press and is called “CHOSEN”.  8th graders meet on Tuesday or Wednesday nights from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. beginning in Sept and ending with Confirmation in the spring.
