Dear Parish Family, As you know well, God’s Son and our Savior, Jesus, gave His life so that we would be able to live FOREVER in His Love. But, we still have many brothers and sisters around the world who have not yet heard this “Good News”, which is why we need MISSIONARIES. For this very reason, we have the “Mission Co-op Appeal” each year. In it, we are invited to support the Mission work of the Church. To assist us in knowing about some of the specific needs and how to respond to this call, our Diocesan Mission Office invites Missionaries from around the world to come to each parish once a year to share their mission stories. Next weekend, Sister Lisa Valentini, MSC, of the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, will be here with us at St. Pius to share about the Missionary work of her Sisters, as well as to speak about her own life as a Missionary. Sister Lisa is very happy for the chance to speak about the Missions and to meet you -- our parishioners! Let’s take advantage of this opportunity to do what God asks of us – by being generous in next weekend’s 2nd collection.
